Meal Delivery

There are a number of services in Ottawa that will deliver prepared dinners to your door. The following services use local, organic food whenever possible. Check them out, I think you’ll be surprised at the prices which are less than eating a meal at a restaurant.

Red Apron http://www.redapron.ca
They will deliver fresh dinners to you Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday at home or work late afternoon, or you can pick up at their shop on your way home. You can stock up on freezer meals anytime – great option for singles or for lunches at work!

Scratch Kitchen http://scratchkitchen.com
They list a number of their meals that are “free of” certain allergens. Plenty of choice for dairy-free, lactose-free, soy-free, and gluten-free. They also have kids meals and side dishes. You can get single portions or family sized.

@Byrdie Sorry, no I don’t. I found the ones in Ottawa by doing a Google search for “meal delivery” and “personal chef”.

@Byrdie – there is an AWESOME meal delivery service in LA. Monica at Real Food Devotee is the best and can provide supplemental foods, whole meal delivery or personal chefing services. She helped us out for several months and I can’t say enough good things about her. Highly recommend!! Check her out at http://www.realfooddevotee.com/
